PSI’s Candidate Handbook, dated 7/18/2024 (test-takers.psiexams.com/more, (888) 818-5829), lists $52 whether you take both portions or one, salesperson or broker. Salesperson national 100 items at 70% in 150 minutes; salesperson state 40 items at 75% in 120 minutes. Broker national 90 items / 100 points at 75% in 150 minutes; broker state 75 items at 75% in 120 minutes. Experimental 5–10 items count against exam time. PSI offers remote proctoring.

Original salesperson education is the 48-hour pre-exam course plus 24-hour MREP after the 48. Apply within six months of the 48-hour completion date, with both passing scores and MREP in the file. Fingerprints before application: MACHS 0004 / IDEMIA, $40.50 (IDEMIA $8.50 / MSHP $20 / FBI $12). Original under 20 CSR 2250-5.020: $50 application plus $50 salesperson issuance ($100) or $100 broker issuance. Salesperson renewal $65 by September 30 even years; broker $75 by June 30 even years. 12-hour CE with a 3-hour Fair Housing core for 2026–2028. Late $50 per month, max $200. Kansas, Illinois, Arkansas, and Iowa each have different requirements. Missouri’s distinguishing rules are the 48-hour course followed by MREP, the six-month filing deadline from the 48, the $52 PSI exam, and MACHS 0004 fingerprinting.
