Virginia's 60-hour course is a useful comparison but does not follow this 90-hour split.

PSI gives 80 national items in 160 minutes (pass 56) and 40 Tennessee items in 80 minutes (pass 28), at $63 full / $37 national / $26 state. Apply at CORE within one year of passing (bulletin 511). The original license fee is $91. Fingerprints use IdentoGO code 28TZ99 / ORI TN920784Z. E&O is required for issuance. Renewal is $75 with 16 hours, including the named 6-hour TREC CORE course. Older blogs that cite a six-month apply window are out of date compared with bulletin 511.

The broker license requires 36 months (post-1988), 120 hours including 30-hour Office/Broker Management, TREC's four-week eligibility review, and a PSI exam of 75 items/80 points in 150 minutes (pass 60) plus 50 items in 90 minutes (pass 38), both at 75%. The fee is $91, and TREC's Broker page requires 120 post-broker hours before year four. Virginia's 180 hours, Kentucky's sales associate, and North Carolina's provisional broker are different systems. In Tennessee, the entry title is affiliate broker, the 30-hour course comes before issuance, and IdentoGO 28TZ99 is TREC's fingerprint code.
