PSI Services LLC delivers the exam under the New Hampshire Real Estate Candidate Information Bulletin (copyright 2025, updated 7/1/2025; online registration only as of 3/31/2025) at test-takers.psiexams.com/nhre, (855) 340-3711. RSA 331-A:10, Rea 301.03(p)–(q), and the PSI bulletin all require 40 hours of approved study, with a minimum of 32 hours of classroom attendance (or real-time internet live-class) and no more than 8 hours of distance education, begun within six months prior to the examination. A Massachusetts 40-hour or Maine 55-hour course does not satisfy that requirement.

PSI gives 80 national items in 150 minutes (56 points to pass) and 40 New Hampshire items in 90 minutes (28 points to pass), for $66 for the combined 240-minute exam, plus 5–10 unscored experimental items that do not count against your time. There are three deadlines: six months from course start, three months from registration, and six months from passing to apply. If you do not pass both portions within six months of the original exam or after eight attempts, Rea 303.05 requires a new accredited prelicense course. Criminal records go through the NH State Police (RSA 331-A:10-a) and are valid six months. Rea 301.02 sets the original salesperson license at $90; confirm the current OPLC fee (school materials have listed $99). According to OPLC's education page, active CE is a 3-hour core course plus 12 elective hours, tracked in CE Broker.

The broker license requires 60 hours that may not reuse the salesperson 40, plus one year full-time (or 2000 part-time hours) in five years and six compensated transactions, and the $70 PSI combo exam with 75 national items worth 80 points. Maine's 55-hour sales-agent license, Vermont's separate PSI and OPR exams, and Connecticut's 60-hour DCP-then-PSI path are useful comparisons, but New Hampshire's requirements are its own.
